Communications Administrator Role Overview:
As the Communications Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in crafting creative and compelling communication strategies that foster employee connection and engagement. You will work closely with the Internal Communications Manager, utilising your technical and creative skills to enhance internal communications and promote a positive organisational culture.
Key Responsibilities of the Communications Administrator:
- Assist in delivering the annual internal communications and employee engagement strategy.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee communication queries, managing internal inboxes and communication platforms.
- Develop, design, and implement engaging content across various channels, including the intranet, newsletters, videos, blogs, and more.
- Support the creation and execution of employee engagement campaigns that promote the company’s vision, values, and strategic goals.
- Partner with key stakeholders to advise on internal communication solutions, ensuring messaging aligns with business priorities.
- Research and recommend innovative communication tools and platforms to improve employee interaction.
- Organise and support internal events, such as town hall meetings, employee recognition events, and wellness initiatives.
- Collaborate on campaigns that drive diversity and inclusion, health and wellbeing, and sustainability initiatives within the organisation.
- Assist in the development of learning and development (L&D) materials and support the internal communications surrounding employee benefits, rewards, and recognition.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in content creation, internal communications, or employee engagement roles.
- Ability to create compelling content, with strong editorial, proofreading, and design skills.
- Familiarity with internal communication tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen ability to convey ideas effectively.
- Creative thinker with experience in developing campaigns that engage and inspire employees.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel) to assess engagement metrics.
- Confidence in working with senior stakeholders and providing strategic communication advice.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of juggling multiple projects.
- Prior experience in event coordination, marketing, or campaign management is a plus.
- Experience in creating L&D-related materials would be advantageous.
