Job Title: Yard Operative

Location: East Grinstead

Salary: Up to £32,700

Hours: Monday to Friday – no weekends!

Lloyd Recruitment Services are currently in search of a Yard Operative to join a reputable manufacturing business on a full-time permanent basis.

The Yard Operative will be responsible for safely operating a forklift and supporting the smooth running of yard operations.

Key duties include:

• Perform forklift safety checks and maintain records


• Safely load/unload goods and deliver materials to production lines


• Complete paperwork for deliveries and dispatches


• Log material movements and update the stock controller or ERP system


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the yard and storage areas


• Empty bins and assist with other tasks as required      

Yard Operative Essential Criteria:

• Valid forklift driving licence and experience


• Strong attention to detail and safety


• Good communication and teamwork skills


• This role is ideal for a reliable individual with forklift experience, looking to contribute to a fast-paced yard environment
