Accounts Payable Administrator
Join our well-established UK-based eCommerce business specialising in building products for the construction industry. With nearly two decades of experience, we pride ourselves on offering a diverse range of products at competitive trade prices, supported by nationwide delivery.
Position Summary:
As a Sales Support Administrator, you will play a crucial role in our small, dynamic team. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Accounts, and Warehouse departments to provide exceptional telephone and email support to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will also include managing supplier accounts and processing invoices efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, addressing their needs with a friendly and professional approach.
- Invoice Management: Process supplier invoices accurately, issue remittance advices, and resolve any related queries to maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Comprehensive Support: Assist customers with order processing, dispatch, and aftersales support, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with suppliers to verify stock availability and track orders, resolving any delivery issues with couriers.
Candidate Profile:
- A friendly, knowledgeable, and professional telephone manner is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Email, Word, Excel) with strong administrative skills.
- Background in Customer Service and Accounts, ideally in a small business environment.
- Ability to manage orders from start to finish while multitasking within a varied team.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Experience in the construction or trade industry.
- Exposure to eCommerce environments.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
